Yifu Wang, born in 1983, studied history at Shanxi University, where he earned his M.A., as well as Mongolian and Tibetan history at Renmin University of Beijing. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg associated with the research group "Water as a chance and risk of environmental strategies on the Yellow River". His main research interests include the environmental history of modern Mongolia, the history of Shanxi merchants in Mongolia and the history of Tibetan Buddhism in North China.
王义夫，出生于1983年，在山西大学获得历史学硕士学位，并于2009年起在中国人民大学清史研究所学习蒙藏历史，现为弗莱堡大学“水资源的机遇与危机”项目的博士生，主要研究方向是近代蒙古地区环境史、山西旅蒙商史以及北方藏传佛教发展史。
