The Chinese in Southeast Asia
Description
"The Chinese in Southeast Asia" is a sub-project to "Grounding Area Studies in Social Practice: Research on Southeast Asia", a project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) since 2009. It focuses primarily on the influence of Overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia on the development of their home countries and vice versa.
"东南亚的华人" 是 "社会实践中的基础区域研究：东南亚研究" 的子项目，自2009年以来由联邦教育研究部（Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung）资助。此项目主要研究东南亚华人对于各自国家发展以及反之亦然的影响。
Project Members
This is a joint project of the Departments of Political Science, Ethnology, Economics, and History at the Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg.
